Project #2
Website Redesign
Company: Encore RV
Role: Marketing Director
Tools Used: Wordpress Elementor, Adobe Creative Suite
Website: www.encore-rv.com
The existing website was outdated, with a blocky and uninviting design that didn’t reflect the true essence of the product. I aimed to create a more engaging, lifestyle-focused experience that not only highlighted the high-quality construction of the trailers but also conveyed the sense of adventure, freedom, and excitement they offer.

The goal was to inspire visitors by helping them visualize the lifestyle they could embrace and connect emotionally with the brand.

To achieve this, I incorporated new colors and fonts that align with our branding, adding warmth and modernity to the design. I also included an inviting lifestyle photo at the top to immediately capture the essence of adventure. This visual update enhances the overall experience and reinforces the brand’s identity.
Additionally, I made sure the SEO was updated to improve the site’s visibility and searchability, ensuring that the updated site reaches a wider audience.

The product category pages required an update, as the original layout was plain and had spacing issues that detracted from the overall design. Additionally, there wasn't much information on the page, which forced users to click through to another page to view more details—adding an extra step in navigation.

I overhauled these pages by adding a lifestyle image at the top to create a more engaging visual experience. I also incorporated our branding colors, including a warm tan color scheme, to give the page a cozy and inviting feel, enhancing the overall aesthetic and better reflecting the brand’s identity.
To maintain consistency across the site, I used our brand’s fonts, ensuring the text felt cohesive and aligned with the overall design.

The layout was redesigned to improve the user experience, making the content more accessible and visually appealing. These updates helped create a more unified look throughout the site, aligning with the brand's personality and making navigation smoother and more intuitive.

In addition, we wanted to make the floorplans more accessible to users without needing to navigate to a separate page.
To address this, I implemented a lightbox feature for each product, allowing users to click on the product and instantly view the floorplan image.

The original product pages faced challenges with long lists of features and specifications that were fully displayed, forcing users to endlessly scroll to access all the information.

To improve this experience, I streamlined the content by highlighting the top 5 key features and specs, providing a more digestible and user-friendly overview.

For those looking for more detailed information, I added a link to easily download or view a PDF with the full list of features and specifications.

Additionally, all other pages were updated to ensure brand consistency, aligning them with the new design elements and layout for a more cohesive, unified experience across the entire site.
